Getting Closer to the Sink
When I take my TravelScoot into a public bathroom sometimes the handlebars keep me from getting close enough to the sink to wash my hands. That's what you see in the first picture. My easy solution is to drop the handlebars down. It only takes a second, and then I can get close enough to use the sink. This also works if you need to pull up closer to a table. There's just one clamp that you open and the handlebars drop down easily.

Thanks for this tip! I bought my TS specifically so I could get into work more frequently (it arrived yesterday and I'm so excited!) and I've been mulling over the logistics of situations such as this!
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Katy! I know JUST how excited you are. Let us know if you have any questions. If you'd like to share a picture of a scooter adventure, you can send it to me by email, elizabeth@ifisher.com
ReplyDeleteKaty, I've been thinking about your comment and how you've gotten your scoot so you could get into work more frequently. Would you talk more about that? It's one of the big things I do with my scoot and I'd like to hear how it's helping you. You can post here or send it to me via email, elizabeth@ifisher.com
