Hi Elizabeth. A fellow TravelScooter stopped me in the mall to suggest a different seat for my TScoot....a boat seat! We bought one today for $75.00 and it is very comfortable compared to the original seat...lots of padding lightweight, and has a backrest. She said her husband came up with the idea and liked it. It is cost effective too. Perhaps this hint may help someone else.
