A scooter-riding bush trimmer

I saw the most interesting sight today. When I was taking a picture of the old Louisiana State Capitol building, there was a man driving by on a scooter. I kept watching him as he went down the street until he got to a point where he was going to have to ride through some bushes hanging out into the street. Instead of just going around them (which would have put him in a lane of traffic), he stopped and trimmed the branches by hand.

New Orleans Aquarium

Rhonda sent me an email today letting me know that she was on an adventure with her hubby and 10-year-old son, at the New Orleans Aquarium.

What is so special about this trip is that she wouldn't have been able to go without her TravelScoot without the fear of when her next asthma attack would occur.

The first day Rhonda used her TravelScoot to go to work she told me she felt liberated. I have to agree with her!

This is what she had to say:

"We are at the Aquarium in New Orleans and having a great time. I rode over
bricks earlier with no problems. However, my teeth nearly rattled out of my
head. Crowds are a little challenging, especially people with strollers and
little children loose. Having a great time ... Wish you were here."

Charge!

The first thing we did was set up the lithium ion battery to charge. It didn't take long to charge it the first time. It was easy to charge.

I've never had a battery before than came with an owner's manual. It's high tech!

One thing to note: You need some strength in your hands to put the TravelScoot together. It's not difficult to do though. There wasn't even any cursing involved.
