Charge!

The first thing we did was set up the lithium ion battery to charge. It didn't take long to charge it the first time. It was easy to charge.
I've never had a battery before than came with an owner's manual. It's high tech!

One thing to note: You need some strength in your hands to put the TravelScoot together. It's not difficult to do though. There wasn't even any cursing involved.

  1. My battery charged pretty fast as well. I plugged it in around 3ish and by 8:30 the green light was on.

How often are you charging your battery? From what the instructions say it can be recharged at any time. Am I reading that right?

  2. Yes, you are reading it right. You and I both have the lithium ion battery. I charge mine almost every time I use it. That was one of my main reasons for wanting the lithium ion battery instead of the standard sealed lead acid battery. (With the sealed lead acid battery you should let the battery fully discharge before recharging it. If you don't it shortens the life of the battery.)
